ABG Bank

Arabtec was awarded to construct the new head office for Al Baraka Banking Group (ABG). Strategically located in Bahrain Bay, a waterfront district of residential, commercial and retail spaces, the ABG Tower is comprised of two Office Towers. It will have 9 levels above ground plus a mezzanine level, in addition to four basement levels for parking for 365 car parks and facilities. The Gross Area for the 14 floors is approximately 39,000 m2. The two towers are joined by a Podium and a Ground Plaza level, while the upper floors are linked by a bridge. On top of the podium the building complex is divided into two office towers, Tower A designed for lease and Tower B, the head quarter of the ABG Bank. The work will include the fit-out works and construction of the two ABG Towers and the link bridge structure which connects both buildings at levels 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. The main contract works consists of the shell and core construction of the above and below ground and associated areas, along with the external works.
